Senior Director, Healthcare, Tableau Software

Mark is the Sr. Director of Healthcare where he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Tableau's Healthcare Vertical. Having spent his entire career in the healthcare space, both payer and provider, Mark is well versed in the complexities and challenges facing this rapidly changing industry segment.

With a background that includes strategy and operational consulting, Mark brings both an analytical and real world perspective to solving complex business problems. As a fervent believer in the benefits that a modern analytics platform can provide, he is passionate about the mission of Tableau Healthcare, its customers and the opportunity to positively impact the care delivery system in the United States.

Mark has a BS in economics and finance from the University of Central Florida with advanced studies at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management

Paul Van Dorpe

Analytics Business Leader, Affordability, Cigna Corporation

Paul Van Dorpe leads the Affordability solution team for Information Management and Analytics at Cigna. He is responsible for advanced analytics and reporting solutions for Provider and Healthplan functions such as healthcare cost trend management, value based programs, competitive intelligence, provider contracting and network design.

In prior roles, Paul consulted with national employers to develop health benefits strategy and created innovative analytics and reporting solutions for employer clients to improve employee health and productivity. Additionally Paul supported local markets with medical economics analysis and contract underwriting. Prior to joining Cigna Paul consulted with healthcare payors on various technology initiatives.

Paul holds a bachelor of economics degree in healthcare management from the Wharton School and a bachelor of applied science degree in biomedical science from the School of Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of the Jerome Fischer Program in Management and Technology.

JoAnn Bidwell

Informatics Manager, Total Health & Network (TH&N)

JoAnn Bidwell leads the Report and Adhoc Development team for Medical Economics that supports over 500 Cigna Value Based Reimbursement initiatives at the local, regional and national level. Her team is responsible for providing tools and reports to the Medical Economic market facing teams that allow them to communicate effectively with our collaborative partners on ways to improve the cost effectiveness and quality of care for our customers.

JoAnn joined the company in 1998 in Provider Relations and Contracting and has been involved in the Provider space since then. With the Provider Metric team, new ways of evaluating providers were piloted that became the foundation of the work currently being done in the collaborative space.

JoAnn holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Clark University and did her graduate work at the University of Massachusetts receiving her MPH in Health Policy & Management.
