The Tableau Biz Viz Contest

Time to dust off the old mouse and keyboard and prepare for the Tableau Biz Viz Contest!

If you are a fan of business, finance or real estate data then this is the contest for you. All you have to do to enter is create a visualization with Tableau Public using any business-focused data set and then submit it on our contest website. Our team of judges will then determine the winner, who will be heading to the 2012 Tableau Customer Conference to compete in the Iron Viz Championship!

What is the Iron Viz Championship? It is the premier visualization competition on the planet! Last year, David Newman, Alex Kerin and Steve Wexler (the winners of our 3 contests) battled at the Encore in Las Vegas in front of a live audience. It was close, but in the end Steve walked away with the win, $2,000 and an iPad. This year that could be you!

Just like last year, there will be three contests leading up to the Iron Viz. However, there is one important difference: we are accepting entries from outside the US! This first contest will be open to residents of the US and UK, and the second and third contests will each open to a larger group of countries.
