The Impact of analytics in Africa with Copia Kenya

In this webinar we will be talking to Mark Odhiambo, Head of Analytics @ Copia Kenya.

Meaning "abundance" in Latin, Copia was founded in 2013 by Silicon Valley veterans, Tracey Turner and Jonathan Lewis.

Their vision was to bring the power of mobile e-commerce to middle and low-income Africans, transforming this historically neglected market into empowered global consumers. Starting in Kenya, where Tracey previously lived, they envisioned mobile interfaces where there is no Internet, commerce where there are no big wallets, quality customer service where trust is low, deliveries where there are no paved roads or addresses and empowered people where the world sees none.

Today, Copia is one of the fastest growing enterprises in Kenya. We bring all consumers a high-quality shopping service regardless of their income level, access to technology or location.

Mark has held several leadership positions within global companies including Orange Telecoms, Kenya Airways. His focus is to provide companies with the adequate solutions that generate business value out of BIG data. He is currently heading the Analytics division at Copia Global (Kenya).
