Custom map zoom with buffer and layers

"Last year, Jeffrey Shaffer wrote a great blog on ‘How to Create a Map Zoom with Buffer Calculation in Tableau’ (or you can go direct to his cool Tableau Public workbook). He used the map calculation for Buffer() from Tableau 2020.1 to create circular buffers around locations and a dual axis map to drive zoom to location of choice. In this post, I’m going to extend on this awesome idea and highlight a few new ways to use one of my favorite new Tableau mapping features - layers - to make this idea even more awesome."
