Get insights from all your data regardless of where it resides
Tableau offers tools to help customers who have a hybrid (on-premises and cloud) data strategy, or who need to access private cloud data in your cloud analytics environment.
Tableau Bridge
Tableau Bridge brings in data from private data sources into Tableau Cloud, maintains live connections, and keeps data fresh with extract refreshes. With Bridge, Tableau Cloud can securely access on-premises and virtual private cloud data.
Data Connect
Data Connect provides a new choice for those who prefer not to manage Bridge themselves. With Data Connect, Tableau takes on the responsibility of remotely operating, monitoring, and maintaining the software client, while the organization's team provides and manages the physical or virtual hardware.
Effectively grow and manage your analytics with Tableau Cloud Manager
Tableau Cloud Manager helps organizations efficiently grow and manage their Tableau Cloud environment across multiple sites. This makes it easier to expand to new teams or regions while meeting content security and data residency requirements.
With Tableau Cloud Manager, you can easily create and manage new, additional sites in the region of your choice. All customers will get access to up to three sites but depending on which Tableau Cloud edition you have, you could create up to 50 sites. Tableau Cloud Manager also enables admins to centrally manage multiple sites and the organization’s users and licenses across their sites.
Note: We are currently migrating Tableau Cloud to Salesforce's Hyperforce cloud infrastructure, and not all regions have completed the migration (for updates on the timeline, visit our Help article). Since Tableau Cloud Manager allows for a single deployment to have Sites in different regions, it is possible that one or more of a deployment's sites might be migrated to Hyperforce before others.
