Tableau 9.2 Beta Is Here. Get It Now
Get Tableau on your phone wherever you are. Yup, you read that correctly. We’re excited to release a native iPhone app as part of Tableau 9.2.
We’ve also made enhancements to web authoring. In Tableau 9.2, you can easily switch between dashboards and the underlying worksheets. You can also drag formulas to the Data Pane to create a new field.
Then there are the usability improvements, including enhanced mapping with Mapbox integration and new data-prep capabilities. As always, we have new enterprise functionality including Open ID support and more sophisticated server governance.
For the first time today, at the Tableau Conference (as pictured above), we previewed cool new functionality that you may see in Tableau 9.2 as well as future versions of Tableau, and the reaction was fantastic.
All these amazing features are going to create some painful hands by the end of the keynote #data15 #constantApplause

When Will Tableau 9.2 Be Out?
We have a timeline for getting 9.2 out the door, but we’d first like to get solid usage in beta and fix bugs. We want your feedback as early as possible to catch any issues and ensure the new features are great. The features included in Beta and in the final version of Tableau 9.2 may change over time as we get feedback from Beta users.
Want to Join the Beta?
If you want to try the beta, contact your Tableau sales rep. The beta program is available for existing Tableau customers. Customers with an active maintenance license can upgrade for free when Tableau 9.2 is released.
