Christina Gorga

Christina Gorga is a data designer and strategist based in Northern Virginia. She found her way into a data analytics career via graduate training in Cognitive Science. Christina advocates for individuals switching careers into data, especially working mothers through the #MomsWhoViz community. She is the 2018 Michael Cristiani Community Founders Award winner and is continuously involved in mentorship and education pillars through her firm’s Women in Data Science group. At the core of her beliefs is that diversity in backgrounds and education enhances the data visualization field. In her spare time, she enjoys science fiction, collecting mid-century designs, and cooking.
