In this recent report, in partnership with Tableau, IDC authors Dr. Chris L. Marshall, Associate Vice President, and Jessie Danqing Cai, Senior Research Manager, examine and index the data readiness of Asia Pacific organizations characterized by critical dimensions―people (organization and skills), process, technology, and governance.
IDC and Tableau developed a Data Readiness Index (DRI) to understand the pivotal role individuals and communities play in helping their organizations unlock the benefits of data to drive business impact. Executives from more than 700 organizations in seven locations—Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Singapore, and South Korea—participated in surveys to benchmark the DRI scores and examine their relationship to different, positive business outcomes.
