Whether you're a seasoned developer on the Tableau developer platform or a recent member, there's something for everyone at this June DataDev Day.

This is Tableau's developer-focused event meant to provide learning and skill sharpening for the DataDev community.

The day begins with some great product announcements for developers and a look at what DataDevs have built for the thousands of Tableau users all over the world to better see and understand their data. Then you'll have the opportunity to attend sessions to get inspired by what others have built, level-up your skills on technical deep dives or learn more on what it takes to deploy within an enterprise.

Ryan Boyd is a Boulder-based software engineer, data + authNZ geek and technology executive. He’s currently a co-founder at MotherDuck, where they’re making data analytics fun, frictionless and ducking awesome. He previously led developer relations teams at Databricks, Neo4j and Google Cloud. He’s the author of O’Reilly’s Getting Started with OAuth 2.0. Ryan advises B2B SaaS startups on growth marketing and developer relations as a Partner at Hypergrowth Partners.

Kevin Glover is a product management director at Tableau. He works closely with strategic technology partners to define joint projects, solutions, and best practices to help customers solve their analytics problems. In addition, Kevin serves as Tableau's Developer Advocate, showcasing the capabilities of the Tableau platform and promoting the voice of Tableau developers to influence and shape the Tableau product roadmap.

Cate Guyman

Software Engineering Lead Member Technical Staff, Tableau at Salesforce

Cate has been at Tableau Software for over 4 years, primarily working on improving Data Modeling capabilities. Currently she is working on building VizQL Data Service, which is Tableau's new Headless BI API to query published data sources, allowing users to extract their data outside of the context of the visualization. Aside from pursuing her passion to improve developer productivity, Cate is also an outdoor enthusiast and happily resides in Seattle, WA where she can most often be found either cruising around on her bike, out on the water, or up in the mountains.

I’ve been at Tableau for over four years. I’ve worked across many parts of the core product, having helped deliver improvements to dashboarding, Web authoring, and Tableau’s core data modeling and visualization capabilities. Currently I am the product manager for the forthcoming VizQL Data Service, our API to your published data source data. In my personal time, I enjoy creating family memories through camping and traveling.

I have been a part of Tableau's Data Modeling organization for over 8 years. Helping to bring you features like DataTab on the web, the Noodle a.k.a. relationship based data modeling, swap root tables, view data improvements, and rebuilding Tableau's published datasource service to support advanced modeling like Shared Dimensions. Currently I lead the team building the new VizQL Data Service, our Headless BI API to query published data sources! In my personal time, I love the outdoors and am constantly working on home improvement projects.
