Ryan Aytay

Ryan Aytay is Tableau’s President & Chief Executive Officer. With over 25 years of technology industry experience, Ryan has a proven track record of leading with trust, agility, and execution to consistently drive results through strategic customer relationships, trusted partnerships and reliable business operations. Prior to taking this role, Ryan was Salesforce’s Chief Business Officer, partnering with Marc Benioff to set, manage and deliver critical business priorities—such as our company’s COVID-19 pandemic response in service of our customers and our communities in need. Ryan also established and owns Salesforce’s strategic partnerships with companies like Amazon, Google, Alibaba, Apple, and IBM—many of which are now our largest customers. Ryan has an MBA from the University of Minnesota-Carlson School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Finance from Augsburg University.
