However, there have been a number of positive transformational changes, such as digital outpatient appointments. As organisations move into the recovery phase, using data has never been more important. NHS leaders need to see and understand data to help manage evidence-based, data-driven decisions to manage the growing back-log of non-COVID patients where treatments have been delayed. There has been a drop in A&E figures by 50% which suggests that patients are foregoing urgent treatment.
