We’d like to give a shout out to one of our friends, UNC Charlotte Professor Robert Kosara who writes the blog EagerEyes.org. Professor Kosara has always been a kindred spirit - if you're not already a fan, his blog is one of the stand-outs on information visualization. Tableau's Director of Visual Analytics Jock Mackinlay and the Professor have even judged viz competitions together (specifically the City of Charlotte's Business Analytics Olympiad - coming up again for a return appearance next month).
