Community Highlight
To recognize new and consistent Tableau contributors—we’re excited to have a section within the weekly DataFam Roundup called the Tableau Community Highlight. Find out how to get involved.
Tobiloba Babajide, Data and BI Analyst
Lagos, Nigeria
Tobiloba Babajide is a Data and BI Analyst and data analytics tutor with an EdTech group where he teaches students beginner-level Tableau. He was introduced to Tableau while taking his first data analytics course on Coursera. After getting a brief introduction to the tool, Tobiloba dove into online tutorials and getting hands-on experience through personal projects to further his learning experience. Now, in addition to the work he does with Tableau newbies, Tobiloba is also involved in the community through the Lagos Tableau User Group, participating in community projects, and sharing visualizations on Tableau Public.
As Tobiloba began to advance his skills with Tableau and in turn, gain more recognition for his work within the Tableau community, he felt encouraged to keep building dashboards, especially since he had enjoyed building them in the past. Utilizing datasets from community projects or ones generated by AI, Tobiloba has challenged himself to build one dashboard per month. Since beginning this challenge, Tobiloba has created dashboards spanning topics like environmental issues, sports, and financial issues, much of this work can be found on Tableau Public.
Connect with Tobiloba on Linkedin, X, Tableau Public, and on his website.
