Managing HEDIS/Quality Reporting

Barry Chaiken, MD, MPH, is the clinical lead at Tableau Healthcare and has more than 25 years of experience in medical research, epidemiology, clinical information technology, and analytics. He is board-certified in general preventive medicine and public health and is a fellow and former board member and chair of HIMSS. As the founder of DocsNetwork Ltd., Chaiken worked on quality improvement studies, health IT clinical transformation projects, and clinical investigations for the National Institutes of Health, UK National Health Service, and Boston University Medical School.

Jeff Springer is the SVP of Healthcare Solutions at CitiusTech where he leads product management and product strategy. Jeff has 25 years of experience with the last 20+ years in healthcare building products for payers and providers. Prior to joining CitiusTech, Jeff led the analytics division at Siemens healthcare, lead product management and product strategy at MEDecision, and ran a business unit at McKesson where he developed new products working with payers and providers. Jeff has an MBA from Wharton where he graduated as a Palmer scholar (top 5% of his class) and a Bachelor of Science from Northwestern with a Mechanical Engineering degree.

Shyam leads CitiusTech’s health plan business unit delivering technology solutions to leading health plans. Shyam brings over 20 years of technology and leadership experience from some of the most well known global brands and Fortune 100 companies. He provides strategic direction to products and solutions driving innovation in US health plan industry. Some of the key focus areas include HEDIS/ Quality Management, Interoperability, Data & Analytics among others.

Prior to joining CitiusTech, Shyam was a leader in Healthcare Technology Consulting delivering solutions and products leading National Health Plans in areas such as Benefit Management, Member Engagement, Advanced Analytics among others. He has a degree in Biomedical Engineering. Shyam enjoys photography, traveling and lives with his family in New Jersey.
