Palo Alto Networks: Using IT Analytics to drive Employee Success

Steve Januario is the Sr. IT Director of Employee Success at Palo Alto Networks and is a Bay Area native. After high school, he joined the military and while deployed received his AA in communications and BS in Information Technology. He launched his career at a startup during the dot-com era and since then has worked in IT, Business Development, Tech, Government and Information Security. Some of the companies he’s worked for are SGI, Raytheon, General Dynamics and TiVo. Throughout his career, he has led several IT mergers, built groups from the ground up, turned around organizations and deployed both cloud and mobile solutions. Most recently he led his team in moving over 1,700 employees to the new Palo Alto Networks headquarters while simultaneously deploying new innovative technology. Steve has a passion for innovation and pushing the boundaries. He is always looking for new or better ways to improve employee productivity and enable efficiency. In addition to IT, Steve volunteers his time helping Veterans develop their IT knowledge and obtain employment in the corporate sector. He has helped establish two Veteran programs at two different companies. He is currently working on projects to integrate Palo Alto Networks technology into areas his organization maintain. He is working to deploy new innovative applications and solutions leveraging Both AI and automation that will take Palo Alto Networks to the next level.
