Ben recently joined Tableau as the product manager of our APIs. What does this mean, exactly? Ben's job is to ensure that we have the right extensibility points in our products that enable developers to do interesting things. Connecting to more data sources, customizing how a viz interacts on a web page, and automating tedious work could all be examples of what devs are doing today.
