More from the Gartner Survey Analysis
Each year, Gartner analyzes every vendor in the Business Intelligence and Analytics market. Their research is significant because it reveals the innovations driving the market and key buying requirements from business intelligence leaders. As part of this research, Gartner solicits feedback from business intelligence leaders. They disclose their experiences with their vendors’ BI products and how those products have contributed to business success. This report highlights these references’ key buying requirements and their assessments of BI products’ functionalities.
The trends that Gartner has identified this year are familiar ones. Gartner found that business intelligence leaders continues to reward BI analytics platforms that are flexible, supports a wide range of data sources, and enable users to conduct complex analysis and answer questions without involving specialists. Tableau has invested aggressively in all these areas and we are pleased to see independent validation that customers value these capabilities.
