Jay Peir
Jay Peir is Tableau's Executive Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy, responsible for corporate strategy, pricing, and acquisitions. He also advises the Tableau Foundation, which he helped to establish in 2013. Prior to joining Tableau in 2011, he served in various senior roles at SunPower Corporation (NASDAQ: SPWR) including as VP of Corporate Development, VP & Treasurer, and as CFO. While at SunPower, Jay helped scale the organization from a start-up to a multi-billion dollar solar energy company.
Jay brings over 20 years of experience in finance, mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, and business development. He earned a bachelor's and master's degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University, as well as an MBA from Stanford Business School.
Nigel Mendonca
Nigel has been working in the information technology industry since 1998, leading organisations with a focus on digital marketing technologies, ERP solutions, cyber security and since 2014, a focus on data and analytics. Having lived in Hong Kong from 2005-2011 and leading cross-functional teams across multiple countries, Nigel has a deep understanding of technology markets across Asia Pacific.
Much of Nigel’s experience has been focused on disruptive technologies such as Software-as-a-Service cyber security with Symantec and self-service, or Modern Business Intelligence with Tableau.
Nigel has a passion for helping organisations embrace new and different ways of doing things and drive cultural change across multiple teams.
This is very much the case in his role at Tableau where Nigel leads the Australia and New Zealand business for Tableau and is focused on helping large and small organisations in the public and private sector leverage the immense opportunities that exist from enabling more people to gain valuable insights from data.

Jen Jackson
Jen is the CEO of Jaxzyn, an award winning employee experience company who work with forward-thinking leaders all around the world. Over the last 10 years, Jen and her team have helped drive the employee experience in organisations such as Amazon, PepsiCo, Novartis, Mattel, Probuild & Origin Energy. Jen is the co-author of How to Speak Human, a guide to getting the best from the humans you work with, which was published last year. She's a regular presenter at conferences where she speaks on the topics of attention, influence and engagement.
Marc Rueter
Marc Rueter is Tableau Software’s Senior Director of Technology and Strategy. Prior to Tableau, he held positions at MicroStrategy and Siebel Systems. At Siebel, he led a team that developed successful applications for retailers. Marc plays an instrumental role in Tableau’s product development, providing critical input based on his experience helping clients with large projects. He is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer for SQLServer. Marc holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Virginia Tech and an MBA from the University of Washington.
Pratik Mukherjee
Pratik offers 12+ years’ experience in consulting, data architecture, strategy planning, business performance and data analytics working in the FMCG, Retail and Logistics industries. A diligent, conscientious and dynamic business leader and driven professional possessing strong skills in data engineering, platforms, analytics and data visualization using technologies like SAP, R, Tableau and Power BI. Proficiently led diverse teams globally in large organizations including Shell, BP, IBM, Unilever, Cadbury’s and Australia Post delivering large multi-million-dollar projects. Possesses a strong eye for detail; proficient at enhancing employee productivity, driving costs down, and instilling and creating a positive team work environment and culture. Expert in driving change within an organisation and establishing modern analytical capabilities.
David Kaye
David has been using Tableau since 2015 and has a diverse career in development, engineering, product management, operations, big data and AI He often wonders what if tools like Tableau had been in the hands of business and end users earlier in his career. Initially as a business user he started with a Tableau desktop trying to solve a business problem. He became an early adopter and evangelist of Tableau realizing the potential it had to enable Telstra’s operations staff to make better decisions. He has seen Tableau grow from a handful of users to multiple 1000s and multi node server deployments.
Jon Meneses
Dr Jon Meneses did his first degree in Chemistry and Microbiology from the University of South Australia before joining Coopers Brewery. Jon has filled a number of roles at the brewery including Quality Assurance Manager, Technical Brewer, Brewing Manager and now currently holds the dual position of Brewing & Supply Chain Manager. Jon also holds a degree in Computer and Information Science as well as a Doctorate degree from the University of Adelaide, where he studied the physiological and genetic characteristics of wort sugar fermentation by industrial strains of yeasts used in the brewing, baking and wine industry. He is a member of the Institute of Brewing & Distilling in the UK and has been working in the brewing industry for 31 years.
Jed Guinto
Jed Guinto began his career as an Aerospace Engineer but in the last 3 years has made a career change into the exciting world of data. Now working at Toyota Australia and currently the Lead Takata Recall Analyst for the largest Safety Recall in Automotive History, he is an avid Tableau Lover, Evangelist, Teacher and Online Trainer with now well over 100,000 students. His vision for the future is to use Tableau to empower Toyota employees at all levels to solve their own data problems and reduce reliance on BI Teams and external Companies, hence bringing the technology, knowledge and control back to the people.
George Kirkham
George has worked in the IT industry since 1996 and has always had a strong focus on the effective delivery of data to business users at all levels of the organisation. Having lead Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing & Planning teams across Europe and Australia, George has a deep understanding and first-hand experience of what it takes to deliver successful visualization & reporting projects.
Norman Lutton
Norman has worked in IT Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence for 20+ years; always with the aim to deliver accurate, timely and relevant information to the right people in a format that is easily understood. Ability to turn complex requirements into data structures that are easily visualized/reported and reported upon.
Gerad Crow
Gerad Crow manages the analytics and reporting team at nib and is tasked with ensuring nib decision makers are supported with timely and accurate data insights. Gerad has been with the nib group for just over 8 years and has had responsibility for a variety of business intelligence roles including financial modelling, data warehousing, data analytics and report development. Based out of sunny Newcastle, when Gerad is not at work he’s slowly discovering the joys of parenthood with his wife and one year old daughter.
Luke Stapleton
Luke joined nib health Funds in June 2017, in his current capacity as Manager - Analytical Platforms, he has responsibility for maturing business intelligence software solutions supporting the data warehouse, analytics and data science.
In a career spanning 20 years Luke has held a number of analytical roles across various industries including insurance, mining and metals, Oil and Gas. Over his career Luke has transitioned from hands-on analysis to more strategic roles pushing the limits with the latest technology to drive competitive advantage through analytics.

Brendon Sandoval
Brendon is News Corp’s Finance ‘data geek’ and is team lead in delivering major changes to how Finance data is handled and reported to broader business stakeholders. Improving data literacy and democratising data to Finance team members and their stakeholders is core to his work. He is a keen problem solver who seeks data driven techniques to identify improvement opportunities to help his stakeholders drive business decisions.
Prior to his current role, Brendon worked within News Corp’s Corporate Audit Department and prior to that with Deloitte. Across those roles, Brendon benefits from a unique blend of experiences across data analytics, internal audit and forensic investigation disciplines.

Lee Bond-Kennedy
Lee is a presales consultant based in Melbourne who helps customers use Tableau to solve their analytics & reporting challenges, and, as the ANZ technical lead for Tableau embedded solutions helping businesses deliver powerful analytics to their customers without having to build them themselves. In his spare time Lee enjoys working on and time trialling his cars.
Jason Oakes
Jason is a Sales Consultant with more years under his belt in the IT industry than he cares to admit. He was part of the small team that established and developed Business Objects in the Asia Pacific region during the 1990’s, and is now part of the team at Tableau that helps customers realise the greatest possible value from their investment in Tableau. Jason has helped some of Tableau’s largest customers in the ANZ region to build out their BI Centres of Excellence.
Ben Tzannes
Ben is a Senior Product Consultant in the ANZ Team. In his prior work experience and education, he has developed predictive models and designed data warehouses that has honed his expertise on data modelling and building data preparation flows. Before his career in all things data took shape, you could find him whipping up cocktails in Canberra and belting out ballads at the local karaoke bar…actually he still does that last part.
Marc Psaila
Marc is a Sales Consultant at Tableau and is a self-proclaimed data geek, with a fascination in connecting to a dataset and getting insights in a matter of minutes. Marc has 20+ years of experience at American Enterprise software vendors both as an Implementation Consultant and a Presales Consultant, and has worked with different types of software such as Collaboration and Content Management, CRM, Project Management and now Visual Analytics.
Outside of Tableau, Marc has a passion for travelling and outdoor activities, and even uses Tableau to analyse the data on running races he participates in.

Evgenia Stancheva
Evgenia is a Sales Consultant at Tableau with a passion for innovation, creativity and design. She helps customers solve problems with data and unleash their human potential through the use of visual analytics. She believes that drawing insights from data should be a fun, enjoyable and iterative process of continuous discovery, and loves helping people immerse themselves in the product.
Harrison Xiao
Harrison is the Team Lead of ANZ Product Consulting at Tableau. He joined Tableau in January 2015 after graduating from The University of Sydney with an M.E. in Electrical Engineering. When he isn't reviewing dashboards or troubleshooting calculations, Harrison can commonly be found playing basketball, hiking or discovering new food in Sydney.
