Shitang is AVP for CitiusTech’s Health Plan and Consulting divisions. As principal consultant, he works with CitiusTech Sales, Product and Proficiency teams to deliver solutions and services most current with market needs and position our clients for long-term success.

Shitang has attained a holistic understanding of U.S. healthcare system over the last 19 years spanning healthcare management and health policymaking settings, with focus on payer strategy and business transformation. He specializes in payer-provider integration and contracting, quality improvement, analytics and data science, core system evaluation and selection, consumer-centric operations, value-based insurance design and financial reporting.

Prior to CitiusTech, Shitang worked for PwC Health Industries Advisory for 9 years serving more than 30 payer and provider clients. He started his career in federal and state policymaking, and promoted health services research in decision-making at AcademyHealth and EP&P Consulting in Washington D.C.

Barry Chaiken, MD, MPH, is the clinical lead at Tableau Healthcare and has more than 25 years of experience in medical research, epidemiology, clinical information technology, and analytics. He is board-certified in general preventive medicine and public health and is a fellow and former board member and chair of HIMSS. As the founder of DocsNetwork Ltd., Chaiken worked on quality improvement studies, health IT clinical transformation projects, and clinical investigations for the National Institutes of Health, UK National Health Service, and Boston University Medical School.
