Over the past year, public service organisations - involved in government administration, public health, or public education operations - have faced extraordinary challenges, ranging from navigating the COVID-19 pandemic to implementing massive government assistance programs, driving economic recovery to winning citizens' trust. Each of these demanded collaboration, agility, and resiliency to meet the needs of the constituents.

These crises have demonstrated the value of data to every public service agency - and now, there is no turning back from an increasingly data-driven and digital government. The transformative power of data will drive better decisions and outcomes. The ability to identify meaningful insights will prepare public service organisations for what's next. Data analytics will help agencies meet the expectations of both citizens and policymakers for a high-performing, responsive, and accountable government that can solve even the most complex problems.

Join us for the 8th edition of Tableau Singapore Public Sector Day on 17 June, to learn how local and global public service agencies are using data and modern analytics to meet current and future demands. Our speakers will explore:

  • Using data for COVID-19 response and vaccine management
  • Transforming citizen services with analytics
  • Reimagining workforce management
  • Restoring trust through transparency

Digital transformation is data transformation, and government entities need to make their biggest bets on data–now. Join Tableau CTO Andrew Beers to hear his perspective on trends and innovations impacting the future of data and analytics. Andrew will share how organisations can keep the workforce, and the public, informed, and ways organisations can empower everyone to do more with their data to drive transformation.

Speaker:

Organisations, public or private, around the world are accelerating their digitalisation efforts, more so due to COVID-19. At the heart of digital transformation is data transformation. Done well, the transformation efforts will supercharge the effectiveness of the entire organisation as leaders and staff embrace the use of data, and incorporate data science and AI into workflows, products and operations.

This talk highlights the suite of capability development initiatives that are running to help agencies drive their own data transformation efforts. From frameworks & guides, training and masterclasses, to community building meetups, campaigns and hackathons, learn how you can easily be a part of them – either as a participant, an advocate, or leverage these initiatives for your own internal data transformation needs. You will also hear about how we’re walking the talk in leveraging these initiatives to drive data transformation within GovTech and evolve ourselves into a data analytics ready organisation.

Speaker:

Today's tech-savvy constituents have high expectations when interacting with the government. By sharing the agency's performance, the District of Columbia Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DCRA) enables the public to easily track DCRA's service goals, regulatory enforcement, and important public data through helpful resources like the Landlord Violation Tool.

Speaker:

From pandemic response to public communications and transparency, the demand for data and insights has never been greater. This exclusive discussion with public service leaders centers on how they have reimagined their workforce and embraced data to transform the citizen experience. Hear how Urban Redevelopment Authority is harnessing data to formulate plans and policies, building a data literate workforce across the agency, and introducing innovative digital programs to engage the community. Learn how the Singapore Civil Defence Force is leveraging data in the critical planning of resources and service operations, while also ensuring the safety and well-being of their first responders.
