Dave Kopniske is the Senior Director of Solution Engineering for Tableau’s State & Local Government and Education (SLED) team, and is a founding member of the vertical practice at the company. Dave is responsible for driving Tableau’s technical sales direction and use case solutioning in the SLED business for the US and Canada. He is a 23-year analytics veteran, with experience as an analytics consultant at a both GSI firms and regional consulting firms, a Director of Analytics for a US university, and as a presales leader at multiple analytics vendors. Dave has had experience working with government and education customers with both small, focused solutions as well as very large state-wide enterprise deployments. He has overseen Tableau’s technical success in the SLED space grow from a handful of customers, expanding to every state in the US now using Tableau in some capacity.

Barry Chaiken, MD, MPH, is the clinical lead at Tableau Healthcare and has more than 25 years of experience in medical research, epidemiology, clinical information technology, and analytics. He is board-certified in general preventive medicine and public health and is a fellow and former board member and chair of HIMSS. As the founder of DocsNetwork Ltd., Chaiken worked on quality improvement studies, health IT clinical transformation projects, and clinical investigations for the National Institutes of Health, UK National Health Service, and Boston University Medical School.

Tyler May is the Manager for Tableau Life Science Solution Engineering. Tyler joined Tableau in 2018 and is passionate about helping customers get value and insight from their data. Prior to joining Tableau, Tyler led an analytics Center of Excellence at a large pharmaceutical where he evangelized and expanded a data culture across the organization.
