To recognize new and consistent Tableau contributors—we’re excited to have a section within the weekly DataFam Roundup called the Tableau Community Highlight. Find out how to get involved.
Alisa Prem, Product Designer at American Express Global Business Travel
New Delhi, India
Alisa Prem is a Product Designer at American Express Global Business Travel. She got started with Tableau when she was pursuing her bachelor’s degree during the pandemic. After stumbling upon Tableau, she was captivated by being able to make something so interesting and complex from a dataset and leveraged Tableau Public to practice early in her learning journey. Now, Alisa is involved in the community through Tableau User Groups, publishing vizzes on Tableau Public, and sharing her knowledge on LinkedIn.
As a UI Designer, Alisa gets inspiration on colors, themes, and layouts for the vizzes she publishes on Tableau Public from sources like Pinterest and Dribbble. She has published vizzes on a variety of topics including Artificial Intelligence, K-POP, and internet trends during the pandemic, her most popular being about cherry blossoms in Japan. Apart from Tableau Public, Alisa enjoys connecting with members of the DataFam on Linkedin, where she offers guidance on creating eye-catching visualizations, leveraging her background in UI design.
Connect with Alisa on LinkedIn, X, and Tableau Public.
