Dan Platt is a Sr. Product Manager at Tableau from Salesforce. He works on Tableau Pulse, a reimagined analytics experience to bring actionable insights to business users in their flow of work. Dan specializes in making Pulse an extensible platform to help bring the power of Tableau to users everywhere and in empowering analytics professionals to tell impactful data stories.

Prior to Tableau, Dan was a product leader at Narrative Science for 10 years, specializing in the area of Natural Language Generation (NLG) and was one of the inventors of what is now Tableau Data Stories.
