Federal Stimulus Cost
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, otherwise known as the Federal Stimulus, was enacted to revive the American economy after a near-collapse in the financial markets.
Early in 2009, Stimuluswatch.org began asking people to propose projects worthy of receiving federal stimulus funds. Thousands of projects, including proposed costs and jobs created, were added to their database. Here we've set up a dashboard to allow a user to browse projects by region, then drill down to state and city, to see costs by project and program.
