About
Chris Fraley is a member of the research group at Tableau with a background in statistical computing. Her past experience includes a research position in statistics at the University of Washington, concurrent with R & D at Insightful Corp (from its early days as Statistical Sciences Inc), which was acquired by TIBCO/Spotfire. She has contributed to a number of areas of applied statistics, including model-based clustering, functional data analysis, ensemble weather forecasting, and gene regulatory networks. She is the principal author of several widely-used R packages.
