Tableau User Group Weekly: December 13 - 17, 2021

A weekly snapshot of what's coming up in the User Group Community so you don't miss a thing.

Welcome back to this week's snapshot of the latest Tableau User Group events happening around the world. Catch up on the freshest content or join an upcoming meetup, all while getting inspiration from the DataFam. Not only will you learn new tips and tricks, but you’ll see them in action too.

This will be our last Tableau User Group Weekly of the year, as user groups take some time off during the holidays. We will pick up right where we left off on January 9, 2022. In the meantime, you can nominate a user group to be featured as the next User Group Meeting of the Week here.

The Kansas City Tableau User Group supports those who want to grow from the community and strengthen their skills. If you're a Tableau Developer or core user of Tableau—this meetup is for you! Liam Huffman from Evolytics covered the topic of 'performance optimization' and how to let Tableau find the slow parts for you through the Performance Recording feature, which according to Liam, "a lot of people forget exists." Jay Farias and Alex Gunnerson from Evolytics teamed up to talk all things troubleshooting and time saving tips. Christopher Scott, Tableau User Group Ambassador and Data Analytics Consultant at Genworth closed out the meeting with a Tableau Server deep dive from the front end. Dive in and watch the full recording here.
