JY Pook
As Tableau Software’s Senior Vice President of Asia Pacific region, JY is responsible for the territory’s overall business. He has close to 25 years of IT leadership experience, with a track record in helping start-ups ramp up their businesses in Asia Pacific. He has had successful stints serving as the region’s Managing Director/Senior Vice-President for leading businesses such as FICO, Business Objects, Onyx Software as well as Graham Technology.
In this current role at Tableau, JY leads a team of passionate team members in Asia Pacific responsible for building the region’s business, and more importantly helping customers obtain insights from their data.
Francois Ajenstat
Francois Ajenstat is Tableau's Chief Product Officer. In that role, Francois is responsible for Tableau's overall product strategy and oversees the product portfolio including product packaging, pricing and product positioning. He is also responsible for evangelizing Tableau's products with customers and partners and incorporating customer and partner feedback into the strategic vision of the Tableau portfolio. Francois brings a wealth of product management experience in the business intelligence industry. Prior to joining Tableau, Francois worked at Microsoft for 10 years in a number of different groups including SQL Server, Office and Trustworthy Computing. Before that, he worked for Cognos Corporation (acquired by IBM) leading strategic alliances with key industry partners such as IBM, HP, and Microsoft.
The first time Francois saw Tableau, over 10 years ago, he recognized the potential to transform the industry and revolutionize how people work with data. "I knew I needed to be part of what was to become an entire new era in business analytics and it's been incredible to be part of the team that is making that vision a reality
Dr Jason Fox
Dr Jason Fox is a modern day wizard-rogue and leadership adviser, oft sought after for his pioneering philosophies and expertise in motivation design. Jason is the bestselling author of The Game Changer and How to Lead a Quest, and in 2016 was awarded Keynote Speaker of the Year. When not liberating the world from the delusion of progress, Jason partakes in extreme sports such as reading, sun avoidance and coffee snobbery.
Mac Bryla
Mac Bryla is a Technology Evangelist based in Sydney with over 25 years of experience in the tech industry. With passion for innovation, creativity and critical thinking, he helps organisations adopt the culture of self-reliance and analytics, a culture where everyone can ask and answer questions of their data.
Joe Kristo
Joe Kristo has 20 years of experience in the Business Intelligence and Analytics industry and heads up a team of data loving presales specialists at Tableau. Joe is passionate about helping people and businesses more easily gain insight from their data.
Cynthia Halim
Cynthia is a Tableau Senior Sales Consultant who has worked in the software industry for over 15 years. She has a wealth of experience building simple solutions to complex problems across a wide range of industries. Prior to working for Tableau, she experienced first-hand of working with data complexity and the impact it brings into an organisation. In addition to helping people see and understand data, she sat on the board for an Australian non-for-profit organisation (Action for Poverty), where she encourages data-driven decision making for effective community development projects around the world. Cynthia holds a double degree in Engineering (First Class Honours) and Computer Science from RMIT University.
Jason Oakes
Jason is a Sales Consultant with more years under his belt in the IT industry than he cares to admit. He was part of the small team that established and developed Business Objects in the Asia Pacific region during the 1990’s, and is now part of the team at Tableau that helps customers realise the greatest possible value from their investment in Tableau. Jason has helped some of Tableau’s largest customers in the ANZ region to build out their BI Centres of Excellence.
Kaj Peltonen
Kaj Peltonen is a senior product consultant with Tableau. Over the years he has worked with customers, across the region, to ensure their success when getting started with Tableau. A common face around Tableau events, he has presented at and supported Tableau Conferences, Data Day Outs and many other local summits. With a background in data mining and analytics Kaj believes in the untapped potential for anyone to be able to access, and question data.
Mehmet Vanli
Mehmet works as a Sales Consultant at Tableau based in Melbourne Australia. In his role, he provides technical expertise for both the sales team and enterprise customers. Before joining Tableau he spent almost 10 years working in Business Intelligence and Analytics across different industries in Australia including mining, finance, FMCG and transport. Mehmet has been a Tableau customer for a number of years during that time. He loves Tableau and loves even more helping others see and understand their data using Tableau.
Tim Louie
Having worked in the Business Intelligence and Data Management for over 25 years, Tim has seen and used his fair share of BI analytics and Data Warehousing tools in that time. But when he first downloaded Tableau Desktop, it was love at first sight. He knew he had to join Tableau. He now spends his days helping customers ‘to see and understand their data’ as a member of the Tableau ANZ team.
Ben Porter
Ben Porter is a principal analytics consultant within Tableau Professional Services and has been setting up and advising others on how to set up centers of excellence for the last 7 years. Prior to Tableau he spent the majority of his career in management consulting working on a variety of analytics projects. He has a graduate degree in applied statistical modeling and teaches information visualization Maryland Institute College of Art, the oldest art college in the United States.
Greg Lambert
Over the past 20 years, Greg has performed business systems analysis and design, enterprise architecture and business intelligence strategy development, project management of deliverables from internal and/or external IT service providers.
Greg's experience extends across business sectors including Telecommunications, Financial Services, Insurance, Utilities, Logistical Services and Education.
Fiona Gordon
Fiona Gordon is an Analytics Leader and Insights Evangelist with 15 years' expertise developing world class data capabilities for market dominant brands. Passionate about setting innovative paths to improve business performance by elevating analytics competencies, she leads teams to produce the critical insights executives need to make game-changing decisions. With a history in business intelligence and analysis, she leads a team of data rockstars, supporting CommSec’s analytical requirements - from campaigns to insights, visualization to predictive models, empowering people to be truly data driven.
Kai-Ming Cheah
Kai has over 15 years’ experience within financial services and currently leads the Data Visualisation and Analytics Practice for Consumer Digital. The team are also responsible for managing Westpac Groups Tableau capability from building and upskilling the community to all the nitty gritty details about server infrastructure. More recently, Kai launched www.visualtooltips.com a blog focused on frequent challenges and helpful tips on managing a Tableau enterprise deployment.
When not dealing with data or Tableau, Kai keeps busy with family, pets, cooking and martial arts. Originally from London, Sydney has been home for the past 14 years.
Sarah Burnett
With over 15 years in Business Intelligence, Sarah has worked across major financial companies in the United Kingdom, New Zealand and Singapore. As technology evolves she is leading teams focused on breaking that Excel mindset and into visually actionable insights one dashboard at a time.
