Introducing the Customer Speakers for TCC London -- Part 2
Earlier this week, you met the first half of our customer speakers for TCC London. Today, we're excited to announce the rest of them. Read on to "meet" the second half of the TCC London customer speakers.
David Bholat -- Bank of England (UK, banking)
A former Fulbright fellow, David will discuss how he leverages Tableau at the Bank of England to analyse the data gaps revealed by the recent financial crisis and highlight the value of data mining and visualisation in the global regulatory agenda.
Dr. Kai Dadhe -- Evonik (Germany, manufacturing)
Dr. Dadhe will discuss how one of the world's leading specialty chemicals manufacturers uses Tableau throughout their value chain to support efficient, cost-effective and environmentally friendly production of chemical goods.
Gary Seaman -- Medway Youth Trust (UK, non-profit)
The Medway Youth Trust won Gartner's BI Excellence Award in 2012, and Gary will present how this non-profit organisation uses data visualisation and predictive analytics to identify and intervene with young adults at risk of becoming unemployed.
Matt Francis, Sr. Software Developer, Wellcome Sanger Trust Institute
Matt Francis -- Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute (UK, biomedical)
The Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute investigates genome sequences to address global health issues. Matt will show how the Institute has integrated Tableau into this process, empowering lab managers to realize cost and time savings and improve the quality of their sequence data.
Ot de Wiljes & Roel Gerrits -- Schuberg Philis (Netherlands, IT)
At this mission-critical IT outsourcing firm, Ot & Roel have built a process for taking data from Hadoop and turning it into automated service reports in Tableau. They'll discuss this process, as well as how they use Tableau to support their business and to do capacity planning.
