Ted Wasserman

Ted Wasserman is a product leader at Tableau responsible for Tableau's Enterprise strategy, helping define the vision, strategy, and ultimate delivery of solutions that enable Enterprise customers to adopt Tableau at scale. In this role, he works directly with customers and partners to understand how they are using Tableau, the challenges and opportunities in their business to be more engaged with data, and ensures Tableau has the right portfolio of products that will make them successful. Prior to his current role, he's led product management in the areas of data, mapping, and mobile. Prior to joining Tableau, Ted worked at IBM for seven years in the Information Management division in a number of different roles including technical consulting, channel marketing, and business development. Ted holds a bachelor's degree and master's degree in computer science from Queen's University.

    Microsoft recently announced a critical vulnerability in its Internet Explorer product; see Microsoft Security Advisory 2963983 for more information. This vulnerability allows for an attacker to execute arbitrary code by visiting a malicious web site. Tableau desktop products are affected by this vulnerability as they load an Internet Explorer control as the component to display web content in Tableau applications.
