Who do you think should be a 2016-2017 Tableau Zen Master?
Do you know someone who is a true Tableau evangelist? Does this person use his or her skills to teach others and bring our mission to help people see and understand their data to as many people as possible? If so, that person just might have what it takes to be a Tableau Zen Master.
From today until August 11, we are seeking your nominations for the 2016-2017 Zen Masters.
Zen Masters selflessly give up their time to help others. They might write amazing blogs or present at every User Group and meetup they can find. Maybe they are active in the Tableau Foundation? Or they’ve written books in their own time?
Whatever they do, they do so with passion, integrity, and modesty. And they do it because they want to help others improve their Tableau skills.
Still a bit unsure what makes a Zen Master? Check out this video by Jonathan Drummey. It perfectly explains what makes a Zen Master:
To nominate someone, please fill out this form. Complete a submission for each person you want to nominate (you can nominate yourself, if you wish). For each nomination, you can include up to three reasons why you think the person qualifies.
Some details about the process
- Nominations close on 11 p.m. PST on August 11.
- Further details about the Zen Master program can be found on the Tableau Zen Masters page.
- We do not select Zen Masters based on the number of nominations from the public. Instead, we judge the quality of each submission. We also use internal metrics and internal nominations.
- We'll announce the new class of Tableau Zen Masters on this blog in September. And the Zen Masters will be a big part of the Tableau Conference in Austin.
